ICT Concrete Technology and Construction Exams – Stage 1 Concrete Practice

Training description: This entry-level qualification for Concrete Practice is provided by the Institute of Concrete Technology (ICT). This qualification enables technicians, operatives, batch plant supervisors and concrete mixer operators/drivers to achieve a formal certificate in recognition of their success in mastering the basic objectives of activities in the concrete industry. It also serves as the first step for new recruits heading for management in the technology of concrete production. The exam is a multiple choice paper based on the Stage 1 syllabus and is designed to demonstrate an understanding of the practical aspects of concreting. Pre-requisites: There are no mandatory pre-requisites. It is a delegates decision to register and take the exam. Routes to the exam can be: The Concrete Society's Concrete Practice training course is the ideal pre-requisite for this exam. Employers may provide their own induction and training programmes.
